I have a new release this week, or rather an old release revamped.
Eagle Man and Mr Hawk has been re-edited and released by Beaten Track Publishing.
You can download the ebook for free from Beaten Track Publishing, Smashwords and All Romance ebooks. It’s also on Amazon, but not for free yet. Eagle Man and Mr Hawk is also available in print, from Beaten Track. I’m a bit excited, since this is the first individual story I have available in print. I’m going to order several copies and bathe in them.
I’ve already shared some snippets from this story and I’ve been introducing the characters and a whole host of animal extras on my Meet the Characters blog this week. To read more about them click here.
Meanwhile, here is the blurb:
Ethan isn’t good at first impressions. His job often gets in the way. It’s his dream job, one which suits Ethan’s big heart to a tee. His chosen career isn’t conducive to forming meaningful relationships, however, and it hasn’t really bothered him until now.
Then Alex appears on the scene… Bookish, shy, but gorgeous Alex, who might be put off by bad first impressions, and who Ethan thinks is quite possibly the most beautiful man he’s ever set eyes on.
Alex’s first impression of Ethan is not a particularly good one. In fact, he thinks the man is a raving lunatic, and their second and third encounter does nothing to change his opinion.
Ethan has his work cut out for him, if he is to pursue any kind of meaningful relationship with the irresistible Alex.
He is dressed, like, well, a normal bloke, in cords, an oversized sweater and waterproof jacket. He looks bookish and geeky. Oh, God, I love the geeky, nerdy ones. That sweater, complete with frayed cuffs, just screams: ‘Too big for me, I need looking
after’. And those glasses, they are sexy as hell. His skin is pale, and he watches me with wary, dark eyes, almost hidden behind a fringe of mousy-brown hair that has grown too long. He has freckles, God give me strength, he has freckles.
