Rainbow Snippets 04/02

It’s the second day of Camp NaNoWriMo. If you don’t know what this is, check it out here.

It’s also time for another Rainbow Snippet.  This is a facebook group set up for GLBTQ+ writers to share up to six sentences of a WIP, a published story, or something they have enjoyed reading from another author.  Click here to read all the snippets shared this weekend.

My snippet this week is a request after last week’s snippet.  I hinted at the history between Castile and Grey in my WIP “Moonlight Wolf”.  Here is some of it.

Grey is injured, having just been thrown from his horse.  Cas is there to offer some TLC.

He leaned in to brush his lips across Grey’s cheek, except half way through the move Grey turned his head and their lips met, pressing together in a delicious mess.

Cas’ heart threatened to beat out of his chest.  It was obvious Grey had done this deliberately.  His lips moved across Cas’, parting slightly, a tongue darting out to taste.  With a moan, Cas pressed harder, his tongue meeting Grey’s, the sensation going straight to his cock.  It would only take the slightest movement to reach Grey’s neck.  The thought made Cas’ teeth itch.

Cas pulled away, breathless and fighting against the urge to dive back in with his teeth.

“Jesus.” He gasped, pulling his hand from Grey’s. “S-sorry.  I-I got things to do.” He smiled to take away the sting of pulling away so abruptly.  He’d had to.  He’d been in real danger of biting his boss on the neck.

I’m hoping to share longer snippets of my WIPs throughout April as I write for Camp NaNoWriMo.  Good luck to everyone else taking part this month, especially those in Dawn’s Love Shack (Sorry, we had to), and the other cabins at the Goodreads M/M Romance Writer’s group.

Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out everyone else’s snippets at Rainbow Snippets on Facebook and while you’re over there feel free to like my author page as well (shy bairns get nowt).

See you next week.
